Mr. Pokemon and the Pokemon Thief...

So I healed Alex at the PokeCenter and headed out to Route 30 to meet up with Mr Pokemon!






It's fun to battle wild pokemon! I got to see a wild Hoppip and a Caterpie. I stopped in a man's house and talked to him for a bit. Then I found a berry and a psncureberry and an antidote and continued my way! Oh Alex leveled to 8!







When I got to Mr. Pokemon's house he knew me right away. Hah!  He handed me the Mystery Egg. Then another old man walked up to me. He had been sitting in the corner on a computer and I hadnt seen him until he came up to me.

He said his name was Oak and that he's a researcher! He asked me to help him out and I, of course, said yes! He then gave me a PokeDex, a high tech encyclopedia!

After a good rest, I started back to New Bark Town. Then I got an urgent call from Prof. Elm! He sounded really scared and I rushed down Route 30!

However on my way back I ran into that red headed boy again! (Remember the one who pushed me?)

He called me a wimp and started a battle with me.

 He had a Totodile! Did he steal it?!







It was a heated battle and Alex did great, beating the Totodile by a long shot!

He told me his name was Jay and said he was going to be the best Pokemon Trainer ever. Yea right! He doesnt even love his pokemon!






I returned and gave the name of the meanie to the Police and handed the Mystery Egg to Prof. Elm. He was so shocked he actually jumped back before taking it. He also congrats me on my acquisition of the pokedex! Yay go me! <3

He suggested that I take the Gym challenge and that I could become Champion. I dont know if that's what I want tho. Maybe, we'll see someday! So I headed home to chill for a while before heading out again with Alex.

Route 29 and Beyond!

So I headed to Route 29. The very first wild pokemon I encountered was a Pidgey! They're so cute! Three hits and Alex has it knocked out! I continued but not three steps later a wild Sentret appeared! Then a Rattata attacked! Alex was getting weak but right when I was about to use to potion that Prof. Elm's aide gave me, Alex ate a berry that he was carrying and healed! What a smart Cyndaquil!! After defeating the Rattata, Alex leveled to level 6 and learned smokescreen! That'll be useful!

I did some exploring and found a second potion in the tall grass! We fought more wild pokemon and Alex grew even stronger, gaining level 7!! I'm so proud of him! Along the way, I found a berry! I'll give it to Alex so if he gets low he can use it!

So I get to Cherrygrove and there's an old man waiting on the side of the road. I greeted him kindly and he offered to show me around and teach me things.

My Very First Pokemon!

Today, I woke up and headed down stairs. My mom stopped me before the door to tell me my PokeGear was back from the repair shop! Yay!!!! I dont know why she felt she had to explain how to use the phone to me, but I guess it's just mom being mom. Haha! She also told me that Professor Elm was looking for me!

So I headed over to his lab. There was a strange red headed boy looking in one of the windows, but he just shoved me to the ground when I asked him what he was doing. HOW RUDE?! Anyways, I walked into the lab only to have Prof. Elm tell me that he needs me to do something for him. Turns out he's GIVING me my own POKEMON! Another Yay!!!

While we were talking, Prof Elm got an email from Mr. Pokemon, one of his acquaintances, but he's too busy to go check it out himself. Of course, I'll go! Well, I got to chose from Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile. It was a hard choice. I would love to raise them all for him! Eventually I picked, Cyndaquil! It's a boy and I named him Alex! As I was leaving, Prof. Elm's aide gave me a Potion! How nice of him!

So I set out for Cherrygrove City.
